We will be running a test of work again this year, the details are as follows:-

West Berkshire Gundog Club will be holding a Gundog Test of Work day on Sunday 15th November at the training ground.

The test is open to all WBGC members and regular attendees.  The judging will be carried out by the four trainers associated with the club.

There are two classes, Puppy (6 months to 18 months) and Novice (18 months and over), with four tests in each category.

Due to the variety of breeds that the club caters for, the test will be based around retrieving and will be made up of the following:-

PUPPY

Memory (go back) retrieve

Water retrieve

2 x seen retrieves

NOVICE

Memory (go back) retrieve

Water retrieve

Blind retrieve

Directional retrieve (handling)

There will be rosettes and certificates up to fourth place, along with certificates of merit.

Refreshments will be provided on the day (please bring lunch)

There is a cost of £12 per entry (dog) and applications need to be submitted by the week ending 30th October.
