West Berkshire Gundog Club
FUN DAY
This was our first West Berkshire Gundog Club Fun Day and as normal we were concerned about the weather!! We only had a couple of rain showers, so got off lightly!!. It was a great success and we had over 200 individual entries in the scurries and a good number of people having a go at the agility course. The ‘dog show’ went down well with two categories; The scruffiest Mutt – won by a Cairn Terrier (I think!!) The Waggiest tail – won by a working cocker spaniel Richard Clark (canine photography) was holding photography sessions and a number of people took up the opportunity to have their dog captured either jumping a fence, doing agility or the scurries. (Follow the link below to see Richards’s photos) They are also available to purchase, contact Richard direct on richard@canine-photos.com The club managed to raise £260 which will be going to the canine charity Assistance dogs www.assistancedogs.org.uk I would like to offer a big thank you to all that helped on the day, you made the day a great success. Thank you.
