Hello Everybody,

I have been asked to give a talk at the forthcoming Gamefair in relation to my position as an Estate Manager in Oxfordshire and what it means to be involved in the countryside management at such a young age. The talk is planned to be on Friday early evening along the estate manager/gamekeeper row. I will keep you all in touch as I wouldn't dismiss the support from familiar faces.

I was reading the programme and noticed that a new event had been created this year 'The Joan Hayes Challenge Cup'. At the moment there is little information and I am trying to find a bit more information from some contacts at the CLA but I notice it is designed for gundog clubs. I was wondering whether enough people from WBGDC were interested (and attending on the Friday) to create a team. All these events are for fun but it would be fantastic if we could have representation at the biggest Country event in the World. What do you think? Ali would you and the trainers be happy for a WBGDC team to represent the club? Perhaps a few drinks in the evening for those staying on?

All just thoughts at the moment and would appreciate peoples feedback/thoughts.

See you all soon,

Tom

Hi Tom

That sounds interesting, I think it would be brilliant to attend, depending on what is involved.

However, I won't be able to attend as Tiggy is due to have her pups that weekend!!

If you can find out some more information, that would be appreciated.
