Hi

Does anyone know what is required for the KC Show Working Gundog Certificate?  And where it can be taken? 

I'd eventually like to take this if Koda reaches the standard but can't see where it can be taken.

It is on game though, so you would need to get past that little stumbling block we spoke about last weekend   I am certain that we would be able to help you get hold of some pheasants in the winter if you wanted to introduce feather (slowly). There is also a water element, so I'd do some water work too.  Also, not sure if noise is a problem for you, but the dog mustn't whine or bark at all either

Thanks, any and all help & advice would be much appreciated.  The problem will be me and the dead bird thing :dry:.  I think it will be definitely a while before we're ready though, and I am hoping that it may lead to other things.  I looked on the KC site but couldn't find it.:roll:

Koda is fine with the not making a noise thing (so far!).  For a dog bred for water she is fairly reluctant to enter it LOL! but she is a really strong swimmer and retrieves really well once she is wet so she will need work on that as well
